At El Sausal, we empower all students to engage in high-quality education in a safe and inclusive environment. Our staff facilitates rigorous learning while fostering responsibilty, respect, and safety for seamless transitions to higher education and real-world experiences.

OUR VISION
El Sausal Middle School will serve as the foundation for the future of our students. We will use available resources, including innovations in technology, to provide a first-class educational experience for our students population. Initiatives, as well as student achievements, will be assessed continually to monitor progress. We envision an El Sausal Middle School which produces responsible and respectful citizens. El Sausal Middle will be the connecting link between home, school and community. El Sausal students will realize that learning is a life-long commitment supported by dedicated staff and concerned parents, but only filled to its potential as the learners become responsible for the learning themselves. We will maintain a safe and disciplined environment for all students. We will work collaboratively with all staff, parents, community and students to achieve this vision.

ESMS is comitted to inclusivity, safety, and empowering self-determind learners to help every student suceed.
ESMS Goals:
- Goal 1: All students will reach high standards; they will increase by 5% or better in English, Math, Science, and Social Studies as measured by the annual SBAC and other District exams.
- Goal 2: All students will be educated in an environment conducive to leanring that is safe and free of unauthorized electronic device usage.
- Goal 3: All staff will be provided the opportunity to participate in professional development that promotes literacy, inquiry, collaboration, and organization.
